How is a sculpture born? Each sculpture is unique and made especially for a specific place. Here's how it's done:
1. Starting to work - You can either choose a sculpture from the catalog (sent by request) or give me an idea or a concept to work on. I will also need to know where the sculpture will be located and it's desired size. A picture of the site would help.
2. Choosing the sculpture - I send you my vision and a couple of different sketches of the sculpture and you decide which one you prefer. If I receive a picture of the site, I will try to show you the sculpture standing in it's place. Everything is open to discussion.
3. Final adjustments - We decide about the size of the sculpture, the materials it's made of and the foundations it needs.
4. Creating the sculpture - I create the sculpture in my studio, or if it's too big I create it in it's place. |
